New Reels for a New Year

Hey All!
Though it is now March, I have put up new reels just in time for St. Patties. I have posted updated General and Compositing Reels, as well as a Dynamics reel.
The Layout has also changed a bit. The Home page now displays my reels. Blog navigation is on the right sidebar, and a post archive can be found below.

Composite Reel

1.This is a series of clips from the Dick’s Sporting Goods spot “Teams Alive”. On this project I worked as part of a compositing pipeline. I created general elements via Maya Fluids for use through out the commercial.

2.This Series is from The Air Miles “Rockabilly” Spot. For all sections I functioned as Rig removal. There was originally a rod protruding from the Elvis head, and continuing screen right.

3.This is a clip from the ESPN “Earning it” spot. For this shot I Rotoscoped Both characters and applied post effects to the background.

4. This is a series of clips from the “Typo” spot from the Truth ad- campaign. In these shots I Served as motion tracker, compositor and lipsync retimer.

5. This is a series of clips from the “Magical Amount” spot from the Truth ad- campaign. In these shots I Served as motion tracker, compositor and lipsync retimer.

6. This series is from the Air Miles “Spain” spot. I functioned as a rotoscope artist. I rotoscoped out any element that occludes the animated painting (ie. The bag of groceries, and the woman.)

7.This is a series of clips from The British Columbian Dairy Farmers ad campaign. This clip is from the “Arm Wrestling” spot of the campaign. In this clip I performed rig removal of the Little arm Wire Flight rigs, compositing in the light truss, and tie down removal on the Wrestling mat.

8. In these clips from “Foosball” I preformed rig removal on the wire rig supporting the ball, and motion tracked the Faces of the players.

9. These Clips are from the the “Giant Monster” spot. In these shots I removed the puppeteer shadows, removed set Disturbance, and composited in the Monster and car elements.

10. These clips are from the “Power Teen” spot. in these shots I preformed rig removal on the support armatures for the dolls, as well as rotoscoping out set disturbances.

General Reel

1. This is a series of clips from The British Columbian Dairy Farmers ad campaign. In these clips from “Foosball” I preformed rig removal on the wire rig supporting the ball, and motion tracked the Faces of the players.
Software used: After Effects 7, Mocha
2. This clip is format he “Arm Wrestling” spot of the campaign. In this clip I performed rig removal of the Little arm Wire Flight rigs, compositing in the light truss, and tie down removal on the Wrestling mat.

4. This Series of Clips are game moves from Rock Band 2. On this project I cleaned the motion capture data, Retargeted that data to Rigged characters, and assisted in the studio acquisition process.

7.I textured and performed UV layout for the character, set, and props in the following clips from the short film “Nicotine”.
A. Of note in this clip is the Sub-Surface Scattering on the male character, Bill.
B. The setting is an operating room.
C. This is a close up of Bill.
8. This is a clip from the ESPN/ Coors spot, “Earning It”. In this spot the two actors were rotoscoped so that the background could be defocused.
